1. How are these reusable?Do you wash them?    

You throw them in the sun    

2.Do these bags have their own odor?    

They have no smell.Just absorb the scents around them pretty effectively.    

3.These seem to smell more strongly than the previous brand I orders.Several others have noted the campfire odor,does it go away?    

Like anything the smell will fade away.    

4.Do the bags have to be in sun 1st to activate when received ?    

Mine did not need to be put in the sun first.It says to put them out once per month,but I have done it every two months (because I forget)and that still works great.
