Bentonite Clay Desiccant absorbs up to 25% of it's weight in moisture. It's a common substitute for Silica Gel (which can absorb up to 40% of it's weight in moisture) due to it's inexpensive cost. Clay Desiccant is non-indicating and reusable.Clay Desiccant is used throughout the supply chain as a moisture absorbent to preserve items by combating;damaging effects of moisture including mold, mildew, corrosion, and degradation.
