Desiccant is very useful, whether it is moisture-proof and anti-dampness for living and home furnishing, or anti-mildew and rust-proof of industrial products, desiccants play a great role in moisture absorption and drying of products. So, can a desiccant be used for the dry storage of goods transported abroad in containers? Is this different from ordinary desiccants?
The storage of goods in shipping containers is very particular. We strongly recommend that all companies put a certain amount of desiccant in the export container to absorb the excess moisture in the air inside the container to suppress the formation of explicit and invisible dew points, and prevent the phenomenon of container rain and cargo sweating. Under normal circumstances, many companies choose Chunwang container desiccant, which is a new type of desiccant dedicated to containers, non-toxic and harmless, without DMF, and widely used in products in all walks of life to prevent moisture and dehumidification.
Chunwang container special desiccant has the following differences from common desiccants on the market:
* Dedicated for container drying. Chunwang desiccant is designed as a long strip desiccant with a rotatable hook, which is perfectly inserted into the groove on the inner wall of the container and does not occupy the loading space.
* More durable and efficient moisture absorption than ordinary desiccants. Chunwang desiccant has a moisture absorption capacity of up to 300% and continues to absorb moisture for up to 90 days. Such a desiccant can solve the problem of moldy and damp goods. However, the moisture absorption capacity of silica gel desiccants on the market is only about 10%, and the moisture absorption time is about one week. Such desiccants cannot be regarded as excellent desiccants.
* In line with international standards. Chunwang desiccant fully complies with FDA, EPA, EFSA and other requirements. It does not contain DMF and can be exported to any country. For example, ordinary silica gel desiccants contain DMF, and quicklime will generate heat when exposed to water, which is a dangerous product.
