Every day , numerous of containers working on the ocean. They load numerous goods, ensure them being delivered to customers.
But it is still not safe. we should still take care the container rain. If we ingnore these waters, goods will be damage by moisture.
So it is important to use container desiccant to absorb these waters. Below are tips about how to use container desiccant, and what should we take care.
Firstly ,Before using container desiccant,we should inspect the containers . We should make sue ,the containers are in good condition, It is free from damage: no holes ,gaps in the floor,walls or ceiling, etc.
Make sure It is clean and dry .Do not use those wet containers.check moisture content of the container.It is necessary to check moisture content of container floor,
best to keep it below 18% ,do not exceed 25% . When you find the container is somewhat wet, add the use amount of container desiccant.
For floor exceeding 20% moisture content add 1 pc 1kg desiccant for each 1.5%; For ramie cotton fabric or other products exceeding 18% moisture, add 1 pc 1kg desiccant for each 1.5%;
For grass rattan fabric , palm products or other high moiture content proucts , add 2pcs 1kg desiccant for each 1.5%.
Secondly ,when using container desiccant ,chose the right models . In usual, there are several models like 500 gram, 1000 gram, 1400gram, 2000gram etc.
In usual ,we suggest ,use at lease 6 pcs 1000 gram container desiccant, like Chunwang CODC-91-10. Just haning the desiccant on the container wall.
Thirdly , when using container desiccant ,please seal air vents, make sure the desiccants are in sealed condition. Besides ,please leave enough space for the desiccant ,so that it can absorb well.
do not press ,do not damage the outpackage of the desiccant. you can also flat the desiccant on the goods carton boxes.
